Rescued from North Shore Animal Center in Long Island, New York, in 1987, Alex was the name of the first pet I ever had. It was love at first sight, and when they told me he was a sheepdog I imagined Sam the Sheepdog from the classic cartoon. He was actually a sheep-herding dog, part Welsh corgi, part who knows what.

A word of caution over "casual" or trainer style shoes.  The sole of these is often  very supple – good for walking, not good if used with SPD style cleats, since the loads are applied over a small area of the foot.  I know this form personal experience having ridden such shoes for a 1000 mile, 2 week tour of Scotland.  Near the end my toes were numb and they stayed that way for months afterwards – due to nerve damage from the pressure in the "wrong place".  Stiff shoes or  platform pedals and toe clips are better options for long distances.

I am now 76 years old, and each year I wrap it in tissue paper to preserve it. It means so much to me because of how long we have kept it.

On July 14, 2017, the Company received a Notice of Proposed Adjustment (“Notice”) from the Internal Revenue Service (“IRS”) for the tax year 2013. In the Notice, the IRS claims that the Company’s taxable income should be increased by an amount of approximately $9.3 million for the period. No penalties were asserted in the Notice.
